It has helped my find something that I was looking for a long time on internet. It is so unique and great work. I will follow your posts in future.
Website: National Furniture Supply

Re: (Teaching) Models of Models

and one note.. I found this post while going through some drafts.. so it's actually from september or so last year. I thought I'd just put it straight up though, as it's still a valid point, I think.

Re: Web Directions: Social Life of Viz slides

Dear Sir,

I am sending you links on the newly expected Trend Compass which is still in our Lab.

http://www.epicsyst.com/test/v...

http://www.epicsyst.com/test/v...

http://www.epicsyst.com/test/v...

http://www.epicsyst.com/test/v...

http://www.epicsyst.com/test/v...

http://www.epicsyst.com/test/v...

I hope you could evaluate it and give me your comments. So many ideas are there.

You can test the software by uploading data on our website and getting the corresponding Flash charts. This is for a limited number of users. You can also download a trial version. It has a feature to export EXE,PPS,HTML and AVI files. The most impressive is the AVI since you can record Audio/Video for the charts you create.

Please feel Free to contact me. I will be glad to help you.

Regards.

As I mentioned on Twitter, I've been thinking about mentorship in the UX community. I've just come back from the UX Australia conference with new knowledge but confusion as to how to combine it with my nascent UX skills.

And while I received great informal advice, I sometimes wasn't sure if I was asking too much and thought that perhaps a formal mentoring scheme such as the IxDA one could help.

I suppose it's a matter of matching needs and abilities, which formalised programs can make transparent, but mentors also deserve more incentive than community goodwill and, in the long run, creating a 'culture of continual learning and mentorship'.

It's one to think about and something I'd love to keeping chatting about.

Cheers,
Cheng

Re: Maybe this is my new blog

And the backstory on this post is that it was made using posterous.. ;-)

Re: Visualizing a fundraiser

It looks cool. Unfortunately I wont be at CHI this year, but I will be in Savannah in February for the IxDA Interaction10 conference... With a small child, I am limited to one or two internationals a year :)

Re: Phd proposal update

I have a Google alert on HCI Design and this post came up. This looks like a great thesis in the making, and I really look forward to seeing some of the results, I'm certainly adding this feed to my list. Are you coming to CHI2010 in Atlanta? If so we should get together.

Re: interaction’09 | vancouver

I wish I had the time and money to go to it - next year maybe. I'm keen to crowdsource this and make it sustainable as a long term resource for people interested in studying IxD.

our current work is up at http://ixd-courses.dabbledb.co...
and you can add content at http://tinyurl.com/666m5e

Jamin, I'd be keen to get some info from you as a CMU grad.. particularly on who is best to contact wrt the current program content and direction

Re: more on the AP brownbag

What's thist education snapshot for IxDA?

Re: universal declaration of users rights

I have tried using the term 'artifact' instead of 'product'. It seems to work quite well, except that the word doesn't really fly much outside academia. It also doesn't apply to services very well, but if you think of services as experiences, and experiences as objects to look back on and examine, then you could perhaps use artifacts. Or maybe just 'things'. An experience can be a thing.

I have more of a problem with the term 'user' still. I think people should have the right not to be labeled as 'users', hooked onto some kind of junk.

Re: more on the proposal

Soumitri,
1 - seeing you next friday, but can catch up beforehand..
2 - sounds like a great plan, yes please!

Re: more on the proposal

1. need to talk about adaptive path
2. need to talk about a new masters course in interaction design - would you be happy to be an advisor on this project?

Re: Drupal.org redesign

i agree, it would make a great case study ;) stay tuned!

Re: changi!

Saw a post titled CHANGI and just had to comment.
Surprise stopover hey?
